Drug Screening


Most substances are out of the body within a few days, except marijuana. Marijuana stores in the body's fats, therefore it tends to stay in a person's system for longer periods of time- approximately six weeks.


5-Panel Test:

The five most common drugs of abuse and the five drug classes mandated for testing by the Federal Government are the following:

  • Marijuana
  • Cocaine
  • Phencyclidine (PCP)
  • Amphetamines (including methamphetamines and ecstasy)
  • Opiates (codeine, morphine & 6-monoacteyl morphine)

10-Panel Test:

A more comprehensive 10-panel test screens for the following drugs:

  • Marijuana
  • Cocaine
  • PCP
  • Amphetamines
  • Methamphetamines and ecstasy
  • Opiates
  • Barbiturates
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Oxycodone
  • TCA (tricyclic antidepressants)
